- Native American Project/ Replica- DUE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH
- Native American Open House- Mrs. Hansen's Classroom Tuesday, November 7th from 7:45am- 8:15am- COME IN AND SEE ALL OF THE STUDENT'S PROJECTS!
- VETERAN'S DAY ASSEMBLY- Wednesday, November 8th *check school calendar for times. STUDENTS~ PLEASE WEAR RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!
- Field Trip-THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH- STUDENTS~WEAR COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES, AND BRING A SACK LUNCH WITH A WATER BOTTLE.
- NO SCHOOL-Friday, November 10tH~rest :)

Paper Bag Book Reports
Hello Third Grade Families! 10/11/17
Below are some reminders to help your child have a successful school week! A lot of new information, and some upcoming DUE dates, so please take note and add to your calendar:
- Book Report is DUE- this FRIDAY 10/13. I have had a couple of projects turned in already and they are super creative! Looking forward to the rest of the class!
- Book Orders are DUE- this FRIDAY 10/13. Please order online @ scholastic.com
- California Native Americans are our topic of study in Social Studies. Students will need to choose a California Native American tribe to research (see link below) We will be completing PowerPoints here at school in the lab as well as a home project. Please see link below for the flyer regarding the home project.
- Parent Conferences are right around the corner. Please be on the look-out for an email regarding sign-ups for your child's conference. I DO invite students to come- so when making an appointment please consider your child's after school activities, or conflicts, so that they may attend.

- Reading Logs~ are DUE tomorrow~ please remember Parent Signature at the bottom.
- Library Books~ are DUE tomorrow~ please have your child bring their books to school.
- Book Orders~ went home this week for the month of October. DUE date is 10/13.
- Salt Dough Maps went home today~ please ask your child about the four regions of California :)
- Math Unit #2~ started today. We will be concentrating on multiplication facts with 6, 7, 8 and 9. We will also be learning TWO step word problems this unit.
